Crises of identity and challenges to whom we believe ourselves to be abound in today’s world. National, ethnic, racial, generational, political and religious, professional and personal identities are both conflicting and mutating in an environment of global exchange, neuroscientific insights and a revolution in digital communication and artificial intelligence. Identity has been and continues to be both a source of privilege and perpetrator of genocide. Connecting with each other on these questions is key to our well-being now and as an investment in our future humanity.
ABOUT THE DEVELOPER
Dr. George Simons, veteran intercultural consultant and trainer in communications and negotiation–and erstwhile poet, is a creator and editor-in-chief of the diversophy® collection of cultural learning and social change games. Born into the multicultural flower garden of immigrant USA, he has worked in over 50 countries and has resided in France for the last 25 years. A member and sponsor of SIETAR for the greater part of his career, he manages the SIETAR Europa LinkedIn community and the SIETAR Gamification Facebook SIG.
