As its name suggests Romanians owe their language to Roman conquerors of antiquity, and their speech and culture separate them from their many Slavic neighbors. Often passed from one empire to another, today Romania is again coming to its own, moving slowly and worryingly in the direction of full integration into the life of the European Union. Much pain, sadness and poverty need to be left behind. Romanians muddle through with a shrewdness born of necessity. Enter their world and their minds for a few minutes with this quiz about living and working with Romanians.

Developed by Adrienne Rubatos, MBA, M.Sc. Adrienne grew up in Romania. During her Engineering studies she resettled in Germany. As part of her extensive international management experience she served as a Global Key Account Manager for some mobile communication giants.Today as an independent OD and intercultural consultant, trainer and coach she works for multinationals both in Western and Eastern Europe, especially in Romania. Adrienne is proficient in six languages. She is Associate Professor at the international MBA institute of Steinbeis University Berlin and is generally considered the intercultural Expert for Romania. She has authored the book ”Beruflich in Rumänien“ (Doing Business with Romania).

Entwickelt von Dipl. Ing. Adrienne Rubatos, MBA. Adrienne wuchs in Rumänien auf und wanderte während ihres Ingenieur-Studiums nach Deutschland aus. Hier sammelte sie lange Jahre internationale Managementerfahrung u.a. als Global Key Account Manager für Marktführer der mobilen Telekommunikation. Heute engagiert sie sich als Organisationsentwicklerin, Interkulturelle Unternehmensberaterin, Trainerin und Coach im Westen wie im Osten Europas, insbesondere in Rumänien. Adrienne Rubatos beherrscht sechs Fremdsprachen. Sie ist Dozentin am internationalen MBA-Institut der Steinbeis Universität Berlin und gilt allgemein als die interkulturelle Rumänien-Expertin. Sie ist Autor des Buches „Beruflich in Rumänien“.
