Use online breakout rooms for groups or classes larger than 8 participants, by creating teams of 4-7 players, and assigning a facilitator or team leader in each group.
Become familiar with the challenges and learn the solutions to diversity issues in English-speaking Canada. This game goes directly into living and working in an environment where the stakeholders include immigrants to Canada, First Nations, Gender and many others.
Laura Sarino joined Royal Roads University in Victoria BC, Canada in January 2008 as associate faculty in the School of Communication and Culture and now teaches in the School of Business. In this role, she has supervised field work in the master’s program in the area of international/intercultural communication. Sarino has taught on campus and online professional academic communication courses in both the BA and MA program. In addition, she has recently developed and instructed Interpersonal Communication Across Cultures.
