Those working with Finns from abroad or within Finland will learn important values, facts and behaviors needed for successfully interacting with and influencing their Finnish colleagues both in the workplace and in social life.
Kirsti Earl is an American of Finnish and German heritage. She has lived in Finland and Germany and has travelled extensively in Europe. Kirsti enjoys meeting people from different cultures and learning about them. Kirsti completed this set of diversophy® cards as part of her BA studies in Business Administration at JAMK University of Applied Sciences in Finland. She is currently studying for a master's degree in Intercultural Communication at the University of Jyväskylä in Finland. Kirsti currently lives in Finland with her lovely daughter.
Kati Cartmell is currently studying for an MA degree in Intercultural Communication at the University of Jyväskylä, Finland. She completed this set of diversophy® cards as part of her BA studies in Business Administration at JAMK University of Applied Sciences in Finland. Growing up in the middle of the Finnish countryside, Kati developed a love for animals and nature as well as a love for the English language. Kati has always had an interest in foreign cultures and hopes to find a career where she would be able to put her interest to good use. In 2007, she married her British husband, and while he struggles to learn Finnish, they look forward to beginning the rest of their lives together.
